Baby Spinach with Strawberry Dressing and Poppy Seeds

I try to use a lot of oil free dressings for our salads because oils have a strong negative effect on blood vessels. If you already have an existing heart disease you should completely avoid oils and nuts.

Baby Spinach with Strawberry Dressing and Poppy Seeds

For the dressing
  1. 1/4 cup pureed strawberries
  2. 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  3. 1 tbsp filtered water
  4. 1 tsp lemon juice
  5. 1 tsp honey
  6. 1 tbsp poppy seeds
For the salad
  1. 1 bag baby spinach leaves, washed
  2. 1 handful of strawberries, sliced
Instructions
  1. To make the dressing place all ingredients in a jar, screw on lid tightly and shake until well combined.
  2. Place spinach leaves on a big plate or salad bowl, top with sliced strawberries and drizzle with dressing. Mix well and serve.
