Fried Banana with Chocolate Ice Cream
This is a typical emergency dessert recipe. Firstly, because I ALWAYS have bananas in my house and secondly, because there is usually homemade (frozen fruits blended with a bit of almond milk) or store bought ice cream in the freezer…for exactly this reason! Try topping the bananas with chia seeds, raw chocolate chips or drizzle them with a little bit of honey. You can never go wrong with bananas!
- 2 bananas, peeled and sliced in half lengthwise
- 1 tsp vegan butter
- Dairy free chocolate ice cream
- In a nonstick skillet, melt the butter and fry the bananas until slighlty brown on both sides.
- Arrange in bowls and top with ice cream.
- Serve immediately.
