Overnight Vanilla Oats With Banana And Blueberries
…and they are filled with amazingly healthy and delicious oats and blueberries!
Don’t forget to add some buckwheat or rye flour as well as a spoonful of yogurt (with live cultures) to the oat mixture. This will reduce the high amount of phytic acid in the oats and allow you to absorb most of the vital minerals.
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 tsp buckwheat or rye flour
- 2 tsp plant-based yogurt (with live cultures)
- 1 vanilla bean, scraped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1 cup of blueberries
- Activated almond milk
- Maple syrup (optional)
- Place oats in a small bowl or pot and cover with milk. Stir in Cinnamon and vanilla seeds. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, layer oats, banana slices and blueberries in jars and drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy immediately or pack as a snack.
