Banana Kale Coconut Smoothie
Kale is also called the “queen of greens” because of its amazing content of nutrients. It is high in fiber, iron, vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin E, calcium, filled with powerful antioxidants and acts anti- inflammatory. Enjoy kale in smoothies, as kale chips, as salad or in soups or stews.
- 1 cup coconut milk (from a package, not a can)
- 2 handful kale leaves, washed and stems removed
- 1 frozen banana (in chunks)
- 2 dates (optional)
- In a high speed blender process all ingredients until smooth.
