Butternut Squash Dip with Crackers

 Pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin..our favorite vegetable in our Thanksgiving dinner. Is has to part of the appetizers as well as the desserts!


I served the dip with carrot sticks, crackers and black and green olives.

  1. 1 can organic butternut squash
  2. 4 heaping tbsp roasted garlic hummus
  3. 3 tbsp maple syrup
  4. 1/2 tsp fresh orange zest
  5. 2-3 tbsp soy milk
  6. Sea salt (to taste)
  7. Freshly ground black pepper
  8. 4 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
  1. In a bowl, or a food processor mix all ingredients except the sage leaves until well combined. Fold in the sage leaves and serve at room temperature with crackers or toasted bread slices.
