Mixed Cereal with Honey Vanilla Yogurt

We like to mix our favorite cereals together at home- this is one of the our favorite combinations. Try to activate oats if you are using them to reduce the amount of phytic acid in them. You can achieve this in two different ways: Either soak the oats overnight in milk with a bit of buckwheat flour and a bit of yogurt with live cultures OR soak a whole bunch of oats (ratio of 3 cups of oats to 1 cup of water with 1 Tbs whey) overnight and dehydrate them afterwards.


Friends of ours dropped of some homemade soy milk that was still warm. The difference between the taste of a store bought soy milk and the homemade one is amazing. The milk made by our friends was sooo good!

By the way, we make our own puffed amaranth. It´s very easy to make and I´ll upload a video about in the near future.

  1. Brown rice flakes, unsweetened
  2. Puffed amaranth
  3. Rolled oats
  4. Dried cranberries
  5. 1-2 tbsp wheat germ
  6. Plant milk
  7. Blueberries
  8. Dairy free vanilla yogurt
  9. Honey
  1. Mix the first five ingredients according to your taste and store in an airtight container.
  2. Mix yogurt with honey. Pour some cereal in a breakfast bowl, add blueberries, top with yogurt and add some milk.
