These balls contain pretty much everything that we like- fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts and coconut. Make sure you buy organic desiccated coconut without added preservatives.


Raw Pear Oat Date Balls

  • 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp macadamia nuts
  • 1 tsp filtered water
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pear, peeled and cored
  • 1/4 cup organic desiccated coconut and more to coat the balls
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp date paste (or sub with 1 pitted date soaked in water for 5 minutes or maple syrup)
  1. In a food processor, grind the nuts until they have a fine consistency.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
  3. If the mixture is too dry and won’t stick, add another teaspoon of water. if the mixture is too runny, add oats.
  4. Add more date paste to taste.
  5. With moist fingers, form small balls and roll them in desiccated coconut. Store them in a closed container in the fridge or the freezer.
