This is such a simple and healthy frosting recipe. It tastes much more intense than a traditional sugar frosting- and it provides you with more than 300 nutritional compounds and a ton of antioxidants.

If you don’t have date paste, use instead 1/2 cup hot water with 2 1/2 tbsp cacao powder and a heaping 1/2 cup pitted dates.

Raw Cacao Frosting

Serves: 3/4 cup
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup date paste
  • 2 1/2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 tbsp brown rice syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Blend ingredients together until smooth. If you like a firmer consistency, add 1/4-1/2 tsp guar gum to the frosting and blend well.
